Outside the Inbox was created to solve a simple problem: too many organizations are overwhelmed by tools that don’t work together.
Spreadsheets multiply. Forms pile up. Emails replace systems. And eventually, work becomes harder than it needs to be.
Outside the Inbox exists to change that by building custom, practical tools that fit how organizations actually operate.
Most of the systems I build today started the same way:
A spreadsheet that got out of control
A form that didn’t talk to anything else
A process held together by emails and workarounds
Instead of adding more software, I started building small, focused applications using Google Workspace and Microsoft tools — systems that automated work, reduced duplication, and gave people back their time.
Those internal tools became the foundation for Outside the Inbox.
Outside the Inbox is a good fit for organizations that need custom systems but can’t justify enterprise software, value practical solutions over flashy features, want tools they actually understand and control and are ready to replace manual work with smart automation
This includes: school districts, athletics departments, nonprofits & community organizations, municipal departments and small teams with complex workflows.
The name reflects the philosophy behind the work. Too many organizations run their operations inside their inbox — reacting to emails instead of relying on systems. Outside the Inbox helps organizations move beyond email-driven workflows and into intentional, well-designed systems that support their work.
